Welcome! I’m Elle, a reader and writer living between Seoul, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles. I treat this Substack a bit like my notes app—an archive of thoughts and things I love, which include literature, art, movies, perfumes, and fashion, to name a few.

Every week, I send out a weekly postcard, which has a prelude (critical thoughts and musings of the week), two interludes (what I read and watched that week, including books, ten articles, movies, and video essays), and a postlude (an art piece I loved that week and current obsessions).
